AlSo reportedly at one of weezers shows a fan went on stage and attacked recplacment bassist Scott Schiner from behind, Apertenlt people dont like this change. August 27th news
The September 29th show is now confirmed in new york August 21st news
It has been reported that weezer is going on tour, but without MIkey Welsh. Instead weezer has picked up broken bassist Scott Shriner. The band has stated that this is only temperary, and mikey will be back.

It has been reported that Mikey has checked into a psychiactric hospital In boston. I finnaly saw "Island in the sun" on t.v. wow not interesting!!!! Aug 11th: weezer.com news
It has been said that soon, yes very soon. Weezer will be making a new video for "Island in the sun". Why? i dont know. All I know is that Spike Jonez will be directing, the man behind buddy holly. Also, reportedly Mikey hasnt been showing up for practices due to a pirvate family related problem, we will keep you posted.

The band is getting ready to shoot a video for the ne single "Island In The Sun" but after going tough several treatments fo the video, the band only was interested in one, mostly. It was from Marcos Seiga, who directed "hash pipe". To get time with Seiga Weezer would have to cancel a couple of shows, because seiga is completly booked after that for the rest of the year.
